Better Group Chat Controls and Alerts
One of the major additions is the new Online status indicator in group chats. This shows how many members are currently active and available to talk. This small update makes group chats more engaging, especially during busy discussions.
Another useful tool is the new “Notify for” setting. Users can now choose between receiving all notifications or just highlights. If you select “Highlights,” you’ll only get alerts for direct mentions, replies, or messages from saved contacts. This helps reduce noise in large group chats and lets users focus on what matters.
Upgraded iPhone Options and Video Calls
iPhone users are also seeing several new features. You can now scan and send documents directly from the app. Just select “scan document” from the attachment menu, scan the file, crop it, and send it.
