Additionally, businesses using Safepay will offer a faster and more secure checkout process.
Travel Made Easier with Google Wallet
The service is not just for payments—it also helps travelers manage their trips. Users can now add boarding passes from airlines like Batik Air and Thai Airways directly into the app. Booking platforms such as Bookme.pk and Sastaticket.pk also allow users to store tickets digitally, making check-ins and updates more convenient.
Once a boarding pass is saved, users receive real-time notifications about departure times and gate changes. For international travelers, Google Wallet enables secure transactions abroad without the need to carry physical cards.
How to Set Up Google Wallet?
Setting up Google Wallet is simple:
- Download Google Wallet from the Google Play Store.
- If you have an eligible card saved to your Google account, it will appear automatically.
- Follow the instructions to enable contactless payments.
- To add a new card, tap “Add a card,” accept the bank’s terms, and complete the verification process.
- Your card will be ready to use after tokenization.
Adding boarding passes and event tickets is just as easy. When purchasing a ticket from Thai Airways, an “Add to Google Wallet” option will appear, instantly creating a digital version of the pass. Similarly, Bookme.pk and Sastaticket.pk users can save bus, train, and event tickets to their Wallet for easy access.
Google Wallet also allows users to store multiple membership and loyalty cards. If enabled in Gmail settings, the app can automatically import loyalty cards. Users can also add cards manually, including the Naheed Loyalty Card, to track rewards on their Android devices.

- Bank Verification: Users must verify their cards with their banks before adding them to Wallet.
- Screen Lock Protection: Only the device owner can access the Wallet.
- Find My Device Feature: If a phone is lost or stolen, users can lock it, reset the password, or erase personal data remotely.
- Privacy Controls: Users can manage their settings at myactivity.google.com/product/wallet to control what information is stored and shared.
