V7 introduces an AI-driven personalization system. Before using the new model, users must rate around 200 images to build a profile that aligns with their artistic preferences. This feature is automatically enabled, making Midjourney’s approach unique compared to previous versions.
Users can switch V7 on or off through Midjourney’s web app and Discord chatbot. A simple drop-down menu lets them choose between versions.
